Come this November, we’ll all be going to the polls to vote and one of the measures that will be on the ballot is Proposition 5, the Property Tax Fairness Initiative. This qualified for the ballot last year, when CAR (CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®) submitted almost 1 million voter signatures to the Secretary of the State’s office. The reason for such strong support is we’re facing a housing crisis in California and this new initiative could potentially improve our current situation.
